Created with a  tattoo machine and nano needle, colour is misted into the lips to result in added depth of colour, corrected asymmetry and a slight fullness and definition. This is perfect for almost everyone, however if your lips are wrinkled, scarred or you have dark pigmented lips please contact us to discuss further before booking. Looking for that perfect shade but your lips have uneven skin tone? Have no fear we are here to help!

Fitzpatrick skin types 3,4,5 & 6 are most proned to pigmented lips (if you dont know whats fitzpatrick skin types are, we’ll explain here)

  1. Just like correcting with makeup, we need to neutralise the lips and prep them for colour. The first session is about neutralising and correcting.
  2. Assess the healed results to identify if we need more correction and neutralising
  3. When lips are successfully neutralised and even we are ready to place the desired colour in base on individuals undertone

It is important to take into account every individual case is different and that fewer or more sessions may be needed to neutralise and reach the desired colour.

Absolutely! Our Lip Blush Tattoo service is designed to enhance your natural lip colour beautifully. If you desire a look that closely resembles wearing lipstick, we can certainly accommodate that with additional sessions. This approach allows us to build up the colour gradually, ensuring a perfect and personalised result that meets your expectations.

A Lip Blush Tattoo typically retains its beauty for about 2 to 3 years, sometimes even longer. The longevity of your tattoo depends on several factors including how much sun exposure you get, your overall lifestyle, and your skin type. To keep your lips looking fresh and vibrant, we recommend scheduling yearly touch ups

Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. We use a topical numbing agent before and during the procedure to reduce pain and ensure you are as comfortable as possible throughout the session.

The healing process usually takes about one week and colour fully settles in 4-6 weeks. Initially, the colour will appear darker and more intense but will fade to a more natural shade as healing progresses. Mild swelling and redness for the first few days are normal. You can return to your normal routine right after your procedure

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications like Aspirin and ibuprofen  for 24 hours before your appointment. It’s also recommended to exfoliate your lips gently and keep them moisturised leading up to the procedure. We recommend to use a 3 parts olive oil and 1 part sugar.

Keep your lips dry and avoid water contact for at least 48 hours. Apply the healing balm provided to keep the lips moisturised and avoid picking at any scabs or flakes. Refrain from using lip products like lipstick until fully healed.

Yes, Lip Blush Tattoo is excellent for enhancing the shape and symmetry of the lips. It can also help camouflage scars and uneven pigmentation, providing a balanced and more uniform look.

Most clients require two sessions to achieve the desired depth of colour. The second session, usually scheduled about 6 to 8 weeks after the initial appointment, is used to touch up and finalise the colour and shape.

Allergic reactions are rare, but if you experience unusual itching, swelling, or blistering, contact us immediately or seek medical attention. To minimise the risk of an allergic reaction, a patch test can be performed during your consultation.

Please be aware that if you are prone to cold sores, there is a high chance you might experience an outbreak following your lip tattoo procedure. To help prevent this, we recommend starting an antiviral medication 3-4 days before your appointment. Antiviral medication is available over the counter at any pharmacy in Australia.
